CALLING ALL FUR-FRIENDS
TO HELP US MAKE A FUR FREE BRITAIN!
We think fur looks fantastic – when it’s worn by its rightful owner!
Although the UK banned fur farming more than 20 years ago, real fur from fox, mink, chinchilla and other animals is still imported and sold here: we’ve effectively outsourced the cruelty overseas.
The sale of fur from cats, dogs and seals is already banned here, with your help we can extend the ban to protect all animals.
As part of our Fur Belongs... campaign, we're inviting people and their furry companions to help us send a simple, powerful message:
Fur Belongs to Animals.
We want to show the government that you, and the animals you love, back our call to end the UK fur trade, and leave fur with its rightful owner.
HOW TO TAKE PART
It's quick and easy.
Simply film a short video with your furry companion, starting zoomed in on their fur, and say:
"This fur belongs to..." followed by your fur-friend's name as you zoom out to reveal their perfect furry face.
There's no need for perfect lighting or professional equipment - just your phone, you, your furry companion and your voice.
We’ll take your voice - and your furry solidarity - to Parliament this autumn.
